Rebid Invitation for Consultancy Service (NCB)

  1. The Government of South West Ethiopia Regional State represented by the Transport and Road Development Bureau, has allocated a budget for Rural connectivity for the food security program (RCFSP) financed by the World Bank and region towards the Consultancy Services for Detailed Engineering Design, Tender Document Preparation and Construction supervision and Contract Administration of New Road & Special structure project of the following LOTS and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments.

Lot 1: Kaka mecha 21 km road project & Koro River special structures at Kaffa zone, Adiyo woreda; Kubito Baho mendarasha-alemgena 9km road project & Oppie River special structure at sheka zone, yeki woreda,

Lot 2: Bale shota 12 km road project & Ergum river special structure at Dawro zone, Essera woreda; Delba-alpha-tolka 11.7 km road project & Tashika river special structure project at Konta zone, konta koysha woreda

Lot 3: Kuka meha-Gagali 10 km road project & shench river special structure at Benchsheko zone, sheyi bench woreda.; Bachuma-kolay-lot 1 10 km road project & Kolay Mamruk (Bayu) river special structure project at West omo zone, Maenit Goldiya woreda

The services to be, executed under the contract consist of but are not limited to the consultancy services of Detailed Engineering Design, Tender Document Preparation and Construction supervision, and Contract Administration project of new road and special structure projects.

2. Eligible bidders should fulfill the following requirements or evidence’: Bidders shall have a certificate of competency from appropriate Federal or Regional Bureaus for consultant’s registration with category Grade III and below, renewed for 2017 EFY; Commercial registration certificate; Trading license renewed for 2017 EFY.; Tax clearance certificate which is valid at least deadline for submission of bids that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender and Tin and VAT registration certificate. 3. Interested Eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding documents on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 1,000.00 (One thousand birr only) effective as, of 15th successive calendar days starting from the second date after the 1st  notification of this advertisement on the News Paper. The final submission date and opening of the proposal will be on the 16th  date of the announcement on the NewsPaper at 8:00 and 8:30 afternoon respectively (Local time). If the 16th date is not a working day, it will be held on the next working day at the same time.

4. This invitation of a bid is open to all interested potential bidders and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provision indicated in the bidding document.

5. The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security of an amount of Birr 50,000.00 (fifty thousand) in the form of a certified cheque (CPO) or an Unconditional Bank guarantee.

6. Bids must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the South West Ethiopia Regional State Transport and Road Development Bureau second floor room number 009 office of the Procurement Department, on the closing date and before closing time.

7. The Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
